Busco huellas en la historia del arte y de los oficios. Me interesa trazar una mirada contemporánea en torno a la historia material creando un ejercicio poético que genere cierta melancolía.
Continuar lo que algún día fue y que nadie sabe porque dejo de ser. Ese hueco negro donde desaparecen cosas y tendencias o momentos de la historia es donde radica mi inspiración. Recapitular diferentes movimientos artísticos, la pintura, la arquitectura, el diseño textil . Todo conforma una matriz de referencia que a la hora de crear y hacer , son reapropiadas y llevadas a una obra que interroga sobre el origen de las formas y su función.

I look for traces in the history of art and crafts. I am interested in drawing a contemporary look around material history creating a poetic exercise that generates a certain melancholy. Continuing what once was and that no one knows why it stopped being. That black hole where things and trends or moments in history disappear is where my inspiration lies. Recap different artistic movements, painting, architecture, textile design. Everything forms a reference matrix that, when creating and making, are reappropriated and taken to a work that interrogates the origin of forms and their function.
